The Honourable Commissioner for Marine and Blue Economy, Hon. Denis Ter Iyaghigba today received member of the All Farmers Association of Nigeria (AFAN) Executive Committee led by the Benue state Chairman, Chief Owoicho Abel Anyebe.

During the visit major thematic areas discussed include partnership, collaboration and cross fertilization of ideas to enhance the work of the Ministry for the overall good of the state.

The Commissioner promised to welcome their proposals, innovative ideas and efforts in areas like fisheries, irrigation farming among others.

He also promised to convoke an all-embracing stakeholders summit in order to properly mainstream all of them into the framework/blueprint as championed by the Governor of Benue state, His Excellency Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia.
