Benue State’s Commissioner for Marine and Blue Economy, Hon. Dennis Ter Iyaghigba, today, Monday, 4th November , 2025, visited Navy Captain H.E. Ejeh, the Commandant of the Nigerian Navy Provost and Regulating School, Makurdi.
Main aim of the visit was to seek partnership in securing the state’s marine and blue economy assets.
Commissioner Iyaghigba highlighted Benue’s potential as a global fishing hub and plans to dredge River Benue and make all-year round navigable.
Captain Ejeh pledged full Navy cooperation, including staff training and asset protection support as part of the contribution of the navy towards national development.
