Commissioner for Marine and Blue Economy in Benue state, Hon. Denis Ter Iyaghigba, received on a courtesy call, members of the BIPC Products Traders Association, Tse Ayu branch Makurdi.
Led by the Acting Chairman, Mr. Wilfred Aayongo, the Commissioner appreciated them for participating actively in the economic development drive of the Governor, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia administrat.
He also enjoined them to consider, in due course, expanding their businesses to include areas that are directly under the purview of the Ministry including Fisheries and Aquaculture.
Mr. Aayongo informed the Commissioner that they were in his office to appreciate Governor Alia for finding him worthy to be appointed to pilot the affairs of the newly created ministry.
The association also congratulated Hon. Iyaghigba on his well deserved appointment, describing him as an industry expert that will effectively harness the potentials that abounds in the marine and blue economy sector.
